Samsung extends the One UI 7 beta program to Galaxy A55

Samsung finally kick-started the beta testing of its newest custom skin, One UI 7.0, on the mid-range Galaxy A55 smartphone. Currently, the beta program is live in mainland South Korea, and other regions will join shortly.

If you check the Samsung Members app, you may have already seen the One UI 7 beta banner. Those who reside in South Korea can tap the banner and join the beta testing program. Take a look at the screenshot shared by a Galaxy A55 user on the Samsung Community forum.

Samsung Galaxy A55 One UI 7 Beta

One UI 7.0 is a big upgrade that boasts new personalization features, including the all-new Now Bar, which shows live activities such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more.

Other than that, the upgrade brings an all-new home screen user interface, starting with the app icons, quick panel, font, new One UI widgets, and more. One UI 7 also enhances the Camera app UX with more intuitive control over advanced settings.

Now if you own the Galaxy A55 and want to try out the new features available on One UI 7, you can join the beta program by downloading the Samsung Members app and checking for Notices section (bell icon).

There you will see the One UI 7 Beta banner. Tap on it and follow the instructions. After that you can check for the update in Settings > Software Update.
