Samsung Galaxy M14 starts getting Android 14 update

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 14-centric One UI 6.0 update for Galaxy M14. The South Korean tech company has already released the upgrade for the mid-tier Galaxy M33 5G and Galaxy M53. The update boasts a flurry of new features and changes, read along to know more details.

The Galaxy M14 was announced in March 2023 with the Android 13 based One UI 5.0 operating system. Now is the time for the first major software upgrade. Samsung is pushing the new update to the Galaxy M14 with the M146BXXU2BWK8 firmware version.

For the time being, the OTA update is seeding in select countries including Turkey and the UAE; a wider rollout should follow very soon. ย The update is rolling out with a bunch of new features and changes including the November 2023 monthly security patch.

Now speaking about the features and changes, then One UI 6.0 update for Galaxy M14. The feature list includes redesigned Quick Settings, more customization controls onย the lock screen, a new One UI Sans font, new emojis, a new media player, separate battery settings, and many more.

You will receive the OTA notification on your device once the update is available or you can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.

Make sure to that a backup of important data before installing the new update on your device. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% in case of failures.
