Samsung has just added one more tablet to the Android 14 club. The newest tablet to join the Android 14-based One UI 6 club is the recently released Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+. The company has already rolled out the anticipate software upgrade for the Non-FE Galaxy Tab S9 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series.
As expected, the rollout begins from the Europe, currently live in Germany and Switzerland, a wider rollout to commence in the coming days. Samsung is seeding the new software on the Galaxy Tab S9 FE with X516BXXU1BWK9 firmware version, while the Tab S9 FE+ picks up the new upgrade with X616BXXU1BWK9 software version.
It is the first major OS upgrade for the tablet, which also means it needs a huge chunk of data for downloading. Samsung is pushing the new software to the tablet with November 2023 security patch alongside the new features available on the One UI 6.0.
As we know One UI 6.0 is a major software upgrade for Galaxy devices including Tab S9 FE, it comes with a bunch of new features and enhancements. This includes a new Quick panel UI, freedom to set the clock widget anywhere in the lock screen, the option to set even bigger fonts, updated Samsung apps, new Media player UI for notification and lock screen, new widgets, redesigned Emojis, and many other features.

If you own the newly released Galaxy Tab S9 FE or FE+ and reside in Europe, then you can now upgrade your tablet to Android 14 update. You will receive the OTA notification on your device once the update is available or you can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.
Make sure to that a backup of important data before installing the new update on your device. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% in case of failures.
