Samsung expands Android 14 update to two more mid-range phones

Samsung has already released the Android 14-centric One UI 6.0 update for many flagships and new upper mid-range phones. Now the company has announced the new software upgrade for two mid-rangers – the Galaxy M33 5G and the Galaxy A52s 5G. Here’s everything you need to know about the new software update.

If you own the Galaxy A52s, then you’ll be glad to know that the One UI 6.0 update is already available in many countries, the list includes Greece, Ireland, The Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom. Yes, the update goes live in many European countries, it should be available in other regions very soon. The update labels with the A528BXXU5FWK4 version number.

For Galaxy M33 5G, the rollout is live in Russia and Ukraine, with a wider rollout to commence in the coming days. The update is rolling out with a bunch of new features and changes including the November 2023 monthly security patch. As One UI 6.0 is a feature-packed update it needs a big amount of data for downloading. The phone picks up the new software with M336BXXU5DWK6 software version.

Now speaking about the features and changes, then One UI 6.0 update for Galaxy M33 and Galaxy A52s. The feature list includes redesigned Quick Settings, more customization controls onย the lock screen, a new One UI Sans font, new emojis, a new media player, separate battery settings, and many more.

Whether you own the Galaxy A52s 5G or Galaxy M33 5G, you can now upgrade your phone to Android 14 based One UI 6.0 software upgrade. You will receive the OTA notification on your device once the update is available or you can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.

Make sure to that a backup of important data before installing the new update on your device. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% in case of failures.
