Samsung has been diligently working on the Android 14 based One UI 6 skin. The tech giant today announces the beta program for two more devices – the Galaxy A34 and the Galaxy A54. As of now, the beta program is available in the UK and South Korea, with a broader rollout set to take place in the coming days.
Samsung rolled out the new software with A546BXXU5ZW1 build number to the Galaxy A54, which weighs around 2.2GB in download size. If you own the Galaxy A34, then you will receive the new software on your device with the A346BXXU4ZWI1 firmware version.
The beta listings are live in the Samsung Members app, the Galaxy A34, and the Galaxy A54 users residing in the UK or South Korea and tap the banner and participate in the One UI 6 beta program. Here’s a screenshot of a banner shared by a Twitter (now X) user (Tarun Vats).
In terms of features and changes, the One UI 6 beta comes with a slew of new features including the redesigned Quick Settings with blurred background. The new Quick Settings have some bigger toggles for easier controls. One UI 6 Beta also comes with many updated Samsung apps so it is possible that you may find new features in available Samsung apps.
Other than that, the upgrade lets users change backgrounds in modes, brings access to new Emojis, updated Media Player, better animations, lets you change the position of the clock in the lock screen, and more. Explore more details about One UI 6 on this page.
Whether you own the Galaxy A34 or the Galaxy A54, you can opt for the One UI 6 Beta program. All you need is the Samsung Members app installed on your smartphone, once done, open the app and find the One UI 6 beta banner and tap on it.
If not available you can check for Notices section (bell icon). There you will see the One UI 6 Beta banner. Tap on it and follow instructions. After that you can check for the update in Settings > Software Update.
