Realme GT2 Pro gets Android 15 beta-based Realme UI 6.0 through the Early Access program. This is the first build in testing, similar to a closed beta, and is available to limited users.
The Realme UI 6.0 Early Access for the Realme GT2 Pro is available with build number RMX3301_15.0.0.101(EX01). It will be available to eligible users via OTA.

Realme GT 2 Pro was launched with Android 12 in 2022, which means Android 15 is the third and probably the last big update for the device. The Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 is a major update that brings a lot of new features and changes to the device.

Photo Editing
- Introduces globally reversible photo editing capability that remembers the settings for your previous edits so they can be applied to subsequent edits, keeping the creative flow uninterrupted.
- Improves integration between Camera and filters, so filters that are applied to photos when taken can be edited, changed, and removed later in Photos.
Documents
- Introduces the Documents app to manage, view, and edit various types of documents in one place. The app is completely ad- and cost-free, enhanced with AI-generated content (AIGC) technology to simplify document processing tasks.
- Introduces the ability to search for files in selected chat apps. You can now more easily find files that you’ve received and opened, making it easier to search the apps for files such as documents.
Floating Window and Split View
- Introduces new Floating Window gestures: pulling down a notification banner to bring up a floating window, pulling down a floating window for full-screen display, swiping up to close a floating window, and swiping to a side to hide a floating window.
- Introduces resizable Split View windows. Simply drag the divider to resize the window not fully displayed for a larger display area. You can also achieve this by tapping the window.
Notifications and Quick Settings
- Adds the Split mode for the notification drawer and Quick Settings. Swipe down from the top-left to open the notification drawer, swipe down from the top-right for Quick Settings, and swipe left or right to switch between them.
- Redesigns Quick Settings with an optimized layout that offers more appealing and consistent visuals, and more refined and rich animations.
Realme Share
- Introduces file transfer capability with iOS devices. Enable the Touch to share feature on the device to find iOS devices and transfer files efficiently and effortlessly.
Battery & Charging
- Introduces “Charging limit” to stop charging at 80% to extend battery lifespan and slow down degradation.
- Introduces battery protection reminder to turn on Charging limit when your device is connected to a charger for too long.

- Optimizes your multitasking experience by navigating you to the last used app once you enter the recent tasks view, making app switching more convenient.
- Optimizes the Drawer mode by retaining the Home screen app layout when you enter Drawer mode for the first time.
Safety Guard
- Introduces the app security control feature to block malicious pop-ups and background activities from apps, reducing third-party app pop-ups and abnormal battery drain, while improving system security.
Privacy Protection
- Improves Private Safe with the new categorized browsing features for images, videos, and documents, making it easier to manage private data.
- Introduces a new Home screen entry for hidden apps. You can tap the Hidden apps folder on the Home screen and verify your privacy password to see the apps.
If you have a Realme GT2 Pro and are eager to experience Realme UI 6.0 before its official release, you can apply for early access. Currently, it is available to users in India, but it might be extended to other regions soon.
To apply for Realme UI 6.0 Early Access, make sure your phone isnโt rooted and follow the steps mentioned below.
- Update your GT 2 Pro to the required UI version : RMX3301_14.0.0.1410(EX01) | RMX3301_14.0.0.902(EX01) | RMX3301_14.0.0.810(EX01)
- Now enable Developer Mode from Settings > About device > Version and tap Version Number seven times.
- Navigate to Settings > About device > Click on the “realme UI 5.0” banner at the top > Click on the three dots in the top right corner > Beta program > Early Access > Apply Now > Submit your details and complete the application.
Realme is accepting applications in batches. Once your application is accepted, youโll receive the OTA update on your device. Before installing the update, back up important data (just in case) and charge your device to at least 50%.

It was promised by realme that the realme gt 2 will stay updated till android 15 but still didn’t get any updates. Is there any reason why the updates are still pending on realme gt 2
