Samsung started rolling out the stable One UI 7 in April, but the update hasnโt been released to all eligible devices yet. While we wait for One UI 7, the next version, One UI 8, has already started generating buzz through leaks.
Samsung has begun internal testing of One UI 8 on the Galaxy S25. Several new features have emerged from the testing phase. The recent revelation is that One UI 8 will enable Samsung phones to summarize any online video playing in the Samsung Internet browser. This feature is currently under testing.

Users can summarize any video they play within the stock browser using this feature. The AI processing will happen on the device, which means the activity will be secure. However, the summarization can take time depending on the deviceโs hardware capabilities.
This feature will be part of Galaxy AI, which means Samsung Phones with Galaxy AI capabilities will be able to enjoy this feature.
Fortunately, users can already test this feature in the Samsung Internet browser. To test the upcoming feature, you can enable it in the debug settings. To do this, open the Samsung Internet app on your Galaxy phone and search for internet://debug in the address bar. Then tap on three bars and go to Settings.
When youโre in the Settings, scroll down and open the Debug settings. Then, navigate to Single module tests > AI Summarize Settings. Here, turn on the toggle for Enable Video Summarize.
Once youโve enabled the option, go to the webpage (like YouTube) and play the video. Now tap on the Galaxy AI button and select Summarize. This will generate a summary of the video in bullet points.
The feature should work on all Galaxy devices with Galaxy AI support. Since the feature is still in testing, it might not work properly for everyone. However, during my testing, I found it to be working every time. Let us know if the feature is working on your device.
