OnePlus seems quick this time with updates compared to last year. The OnePlus 8 Series was launched in 2020 and the Android 13 will be the last major update for the series according to three major update policy for flagship phones.

OxygenOS 13 closed beta for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is available for limited users only. In numbers, it is 200 seats for both the devices combined. So only the first 200 users will be able to join the Android 13 Closed Beta Program. OxygenOS 13 closed beta will last for about two to three months. And the open beta is expected once the OnePlus 10 Pro gets the stable OxygenOS 13 update.

Talking about changes and new features, OxygenOS 13 comes with aquamorphic design which is the main change in terms of UI. Other features include better HyperBoost for gaming, better privacy, and more. You can see all the new features on this page.
