OnePlus 9RT also joins Android 13 based OxygenOS 13 testing program via the closed beta. This is a surprising move as we did not expect any other OnePlus phone to get the OxygenOS 13 beta test at least this month as the OnePlus 10 Pro has just received the OxygenOS 13 open beta. However, it is closed beta and not open beta. Here’s everything you need to know about the Android 13 based OxygenOS 13 closed beta for OnePlus 9RT.
OnePlus released OxygenOS 13 open beta for OnePlus 10 Pro a few days back. And within a week, the OxygenOS 13 beta program is now extended to the OnePlus 9RT. Since this is a closed beta program, only a limited number of users can apply. OnePlus is only accepting 200 users for the OnePlus 9RT OxygenOS 13 closed beta program. We can expect the Open Beta in a month or two.
The OxygenOS 13 closed beta for OnePlus 9RT is the very first Android 13 beta build for the device and hence minor issues can be accompanied by some major issues. OnePlus will release an open beta program with better stability in the coming months.
Earlier this month, OnePlus announced Android 13 based OxygenOS 13, which comes with new aquamorphic design for a seamless UI experience and many other features and improvements, which you see here.
If you have a OnePlus 9RT and want to try out OxygenOS 13 closed beta, you can apply for the beta program. To apply for Android 13 Closed Beta, visit the beta application link and fill in all the asked details. After submitting the application, OnePlus will verify it and if you have made it to 200 seats then you will get the update over the air. OnePlus does not allow to disclose the details of the closed beta, so make sure you know all the rules to test the OxygenOS 13 closed beta. You can visit the official OnePlus community page to know all the requirements.
