Oppo has been doing great with the ColorOS 15 rollout. The company has already released the anticipated software upgrade for the the flagships, mid-range models, as well as latest affordable smartphones. Now they extend the availability of stable Android 15 to older devices. Two years old Oppo A78 now received the update in India.
Oppo A60, company’s new smartphone is also receiving the much-awaited ColorOS 15 update, currently rolling out in Indonesia. Whether you own the Oppo A60 or A78, please ensure your phone is running on the latest available software upgrade. In case your phone is on older software, please update it to any of the following builds.
- Oppo A60: CPH2631_14.0.1.1310 / 1400 / 1410 (EX01)
- Oppo A78: CPH2495_14.0.0.740 / 750 / 760 (EX01)
Oppo’s latest skin, ColorOS 15 brings a slew of new features including new animations, app icons, themes, lock screen customization, AI features, and more. You can navigate to our dedicated article on ColorOS 15.
For the time being, the update is in a rollout phase and will be available to everyone in the coming days. If you’re in a hurry, you can opt for the trial version by which your device will receive the update sooner than expected.
To apply for the ColorOS 15 official version, you can navigate to Go to Settings > About Device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Select Trial version > Official Version > Apply Now.
Once done, you will receive the update go back and select Detect the update option > Download now. That’s it.
Make sure to take a backup before installing the update on your device.
