OnePlus starts rolling out the much-awaited stable Android 14 based OxygenOS 14 update for OnePlus 11. The company has been testing the update for the past six months and it is now officially available for everyone. The update is seeding with a bunch of new features and changes.
The update is seeding with the CPH2447_14.0.0.201 (EX01) software version number. It is already available to many OnePlus users, you can check out the below screenshot shared by Suryakanta Sinha in OnePlus’ community forum. The update is out for both beta testers and the general public.
If your OnePlus 11 is running on the OxygenOS 14 open beta, then the incremental build weighs around 820MB of download size. However, if you are on the stable Android 13, then the update should require a huge chunk of data.
Moving to the features and changes, then OnePlus is pushing the stable OxygenOS 14 to OnePlus 11 with an upgraded Trinity Engine for a performance boost, new Smart Charging system, new privacy features including an additional layer of security when granting access to photos and videos for any app, Smart Touch feature which allows you selecting text, images, or videos and paste to the clipboard, new Snapchat widget for lock screen, and more.
Apart from these features, OnePlus 11 users can expect bug fixes, newer security patches, and a few more changes.
If you own the OnePlu 11, then you will receive the new update over-the-air on your smartphone anytime soon. You can also check the updates manually by navigating to Settings > About device > Download Now. If you’re on the beta build, you can select Tap icon on the top right > Beta program and then update to the official version.
Keep in mind that your phone is running on the newest software version, also take a backup of important data and charge your phone at least 50%.
