The wait is finally over! Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 7 update for Galaxy S23 series. The company kick-started the rollout campaign from South Korea, with other regions expected to receive the update in the coming days.
For the time being, the update is available to those who have joined the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta program. The incremental upgrade for testers measured around 970MB in download size. If your device is still on the stable One UI 6.1, you can expect to receive the new update in a matter of time.
Samsung Galaxy S23 receives stable One UI 7 update with S918NKSU6DYD9 build number. The update is based on the April monthly security patch and available for all three models in the S23 series – Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra.
One UI 7 is one of the biggest upgrades in the history of One UI, featuring a slew of new features. The update includes new personalization features, including the all-new Now Bar, which shows live activities such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more.
Other than that, the upgrade brings an all-new home screen user interface, starting with the app icons, quick panel, font, new One UI widgets, and more. You can check out the complete list of changes here.
If you own the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, or S23 Ultra, take a full backup of your device and regularly check for the update in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
