MIUI 12.5 is the latest update for Xiaomi phones and last month Xiaomi unveiled the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition at the Mi Mix 4 event. As usual, the rollout first began in its homeland China. A few days later, the OEM also confirmed that the update will be available globally. And now the company already starts pushing MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition in India starting with Mi 11X. Earlier we shared the news that Xiaomi has delayed the MIUI 13 launch and the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced edition could be one of the reasons. MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition will be available to 9 premium phones in the first batch. The first batch includes Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X Pro, Mi 11X, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10T, Mi 10 Pro, and Mi 10.
A Twitter user @S7_Sharath shared that he already received the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition on his Mi 11X. We only have information on the Mi 11X for now, but it is possible that other devices in the list of the first batch are getting the update as well.
The MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition for Mi 11X comes with build number V12.5.3.0.RKHINXM and weighs around 400MB. As you know the update does not bring any new features but rather enhances the performance and features already available. We don’t have the complete changelog of Mi 11X MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition but you can see most of the changes in the screenshot.

The latest MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition is currently seen rolling out in India but as Xiaomi confirmed the global availability, it will soon be available in other regions as well. The update will be available to you as OTA for which you will receive the notification. Sometimes we do not get the update notification, so make sure to check the update manually from Settings > About Phone > MIUI Update. And once it shows the update click on Download & Install.
Before upgrading your smartphone, I recommend taking a backup, before diving into the process and charge your device to at least 50%.
Once the installation process is completed, reboot your Mi 11X and enjoy MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition.
