Apple has just released the third beta of iPadOS 16.5 for developers. The new beta comes alongside the third beta of iOS 16.5, watchOS 9.5, tvOS 16.5, and macOS 13.4. Read along to know all details about the iPadOS 16.5 third beta update.
Apple plants the incremental beta with iPadOS 16.5 with a 20F5050f build number. The incremental beta weighs around 490MB in size. Whereas, if you are on the stable iPadOS 16.4.1, then the update requires 4.83GB of data for downloading. At the moment, the public beta is not available for the users, you can wait for a day or two if you want to install the third beta on your iPad.
If you are a developer and own an iPad compatible with iPadOS 16, then you can update it to the latest beta. Obviously, you can freely install the new software on your iPad. As always, Apple didnโt share any information about changes in the release notes, but you can expect new features and enhancements with this update.
As per the initial beta, it brings My Sports dedicated tab to the Apple News app as well as the support for screen recording can be done using Siri. We can expect a few more changes with today’s release alongside the enhancements across the system.

If you want to test the new beta on your eligible iPad then there’s no need to install beta profile on your iPad. Instead, you can follow the new method to install the upgrade on your iPad. if you want to install the iPadOS 16.5 third beta, then you can navigate to Settings > General > Software Update, then select Beta Updates option and choose iPadOS 16 Developer Beta or Public Beta.
Once done, go back to the Software Updates section and then you have the new update appear on your screen, tap on Download and Install option.
