Lock Screen:

Let’s start with the all new lock screen, because why not, it is where most of the changes have been done.

With iOS 16, you can now personalize your home screen as you want. On the lockscreen you can set any photo of your choice with other options like different font styles, set widgets, and other useful information.

Messages also received useful upgrades. Users can now undo send messages and even edit messages within 15 minutes of sending the message.

Live text was already available but it is better. Users can pause the video at any time and can copy the text from that frame. And from any image users can copy any subject from the photo and share it with others.

iOS 16 Supported Devices

Here we will be sharing the list of iPhones eligible for the iOS 16 update. The list is based on the official announcement done on the first day of the WWDC event. And it looks like there are more phones Apple pulls out from eligible devices than we expected based on leaks.

As you all know all the iPhones that received iOS 14 also received iOS 15 including the first gen iPhone SE and iPhone 6s. And it was expected that iPhone 7 or newer will get the new iOS 16, but surprisingly iPhone 7 series is also not eligible for the iOS 16. It is because the lock screen and some other changes require a better chip than used on iPhone 7. Check out the full list below.
