Apple reveals upcoming accessibility features

Apple recently unveiled some accessibility features that are coming with software updates to the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac later this year.

Users can mirror the Apple watch screen to a paired iPhone to control the Apple watch using iPhone’s assistive features.

Apple announced Live Captions for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It will caption audio when in video call or watching media content for deaf or hard of hearing community.

For blind or low vision community, door detection features will help locate the door and how far it is, locked or unlocked and how it can be unlocked.

Users can use double pinch gestures to answer/dismiss calls, dismiss notification, take a photo, play pause media, and start/stop/resume workout.
