iOS 15 RC and iPadOS 15 RC builds are finally out!

Apple just finished wrapping up the California Streaming event where Apple released a bunch of new products. And as we all expected, Apple also released the Release Candidate build for the latest iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. Just a day ago, Apple surprised everyone with iOS 14.8 and iPadOS 14.8 for an important security update.

Coming to today’s highlight iOS 15 RC and iPadOS 15 RC packs all the features that we have seen in its beta builds. Here you can check about the iOS 15 Release Candidate and iPadOS 15 Release Candidate.

If you don’t know, Release Candidate is the same build that was called Golden Master about a year ago. It is the build that releases just before the release of the public build. Although we all are expecting next to be the public build, we can’t be sure as Apple has released multiple release candidates for the same update before.

iOS 15 Release Candidate Update

Along with the iOS 15 Release Candidate, Apple has released iPadOS 15 RC, watchOS 8 RC, and tvOS 15 RC. Both iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 Release Candidate comes with build number 19A344. The build number will be the same in the coming iOS 15 public build.

Now coming to the iOS 15 features and iPadOS 15 features, then you get almost all the features that Apple mentioned in the WWDC event. Apart from what we have already seen in the beta build, the RC build additionally fixes a bunch of known bugs. Here’s what the update states:

‘iOS 15 brings audio and video enhancements to FaceTime, including Spatial audio and Portrait mode. Shared with you resurfaces the articles, photos, and other shared content from your Messages conversations in the corresponding app. Focus helps you reduce distractions by filtering out notifications based on what you are currently doing. Notifications have been redesigned and a new notification summary delivers a collection of notifications so you can catch up on your own time. Maps delivers a beautiful redesign with a three-dimensional city experience and augmented reality walking directions. Live Text uses on-device intelligence to recognize text in photos across the entire system and on the web. etc’
