The wait is finally over! Pre-orders for the biggest game of the year, Grand Theft Auto VI, are finally going live! Depending on your region and timezone, the pre-orders can be placed at midnight on June 25.
We finally get to see the game editions, pricing, and additional benefits that you receive when you pre-order the game. Yes, as of now, the pre-order for Grand Theft Auto VI aka GTA 6 is only available for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and the Xbox Series X and Series S.
Grand Theft Auto VI: Game Editions and Pricing
There will be two game editions for you to pick from- the standard base game and the ultimate edition of the game. Both editions are available for you to pre-order right away. The standard edition of the game can be pre-ordered for $79.99.
Moving towards the Ultimate Edition, this is the edition that will give you the base game as well as a bunch of various items, such as a collection of premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel. As you progress through the game, you will also unlock some new items after each chapter.

Pre-Loading Details
As and when you pre-order any edition of the game, you will be able to preload the game on your respective console from the 12th of November 2026. This gives you enough time to download and keep the game ready so that you can enjoy the game on the day it goes live- i.e., the 19th of November.
Physical Copies Pre-Order
Pre-ordering the physical copies will also go live; however, you need to note that you will receive the download code for the game edition that you pre-ordered inside the box. There will be no disc for you to insert into your console to download the game. And yes, you will be able to preload the game as and when the preloading date goes live.
Trailer 3 and PC Release
As of now, the third trailer for the game hasn’t been released, but we can expect Rockstar Games to drop the trailer anytime in the coming days or weeks. As for the PC version of the game, well, nothing has been revealed so far. A lot of fans of the franchise, including myself, are waiting for Rockstar Games to reveal when Grand Theft Auto VI for PC will be released.
