HyperOS 2.0 update for Redmi Note 13 and 13 Pro 5G rolling out in Europe

The wait is finally over! Xiaomi has finally started rolling out the HyperOS 2.0 update to the Redmi Note 13 and 13 Pro 5G. At the moment, the update is available in the European region for Mi Pilot testers, a public rollout should commence in the coming days.

Xiaomi is pushing the Android 15-centric HyperOS 2.0 update to the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G with OS2.0.2.0.VNREUXM build number. Whereas, the Note 13 picks up the new update with OS 2.0.4.0.VNGMIXM version number.

This is going to be a major upgrade for the smartphone, as it was released with HyperOS 1.0 skin. The update weighs a whopping 6GB in download size, please ensure you have enough data for downloading the update.

If you reside in Europe, you can try out the new HyperOS 2.0 features on your smartphone. The update bumps up the security patch version to November 2024. Some users have already received the update on their device, here are the screenshots.

HyperOS 2.0 update comes with a big list of new features including new customization features, user interface changes, performance enhancements, Circle to Search, and more. Apart from that the update includes AI-driven features such as dynamic wallpapers, AI search, Quick fill, Super Xiao AI, AI painting, voice recognition, translation, and more.

If you own the Redmi Note 13 or 13 Pro 5G, you can now update your device to the new HyperOS 2.0 update. You can check for new updates by navigating to Settings > tap on MIUI banner > Check for Updates > Update Device.

If the update isn’t available on your device, you can wait for a few days. Before upgrading your device, make sure to back up important data and charge it to at least 50%. If you’re in a hurry, you can sideload the recovery ROM on your device.
