Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable Android 15-centric HyperOS 2.0 update for Xiaomi 13T. The update comes two weeks after the release for Xiaomi 13T Pro. Following the footsteps of the Pro model, the update boasts a slew of new features and enhancements, except the new trendy AI features.

Xiaomi is pushing the new software upgrade to the 13T with OS2.0.2.0.VMFMIXM. At the time of writing, the update is available to a small set of users, specifically to those who joined the Mi Pilot program. A broader rollout should commence in a matter of time.

The 13T series phones were launched with the Android 13 operating system, which means, the Android 15 based HyperOS 2.0 update is the second major OS upgrade for the smartphone. Like the first update, it weighs a whopping 6.3GB of download size. Please ensure you have enough data to download it.

Xiaomi 13T HyperOS 2.0 update comes with a big list of new features including new customization features, user interface changes, performance enhancements, Circle to Search, and more. Apart from that the update includes AI-driven features such as dynamic wallpapers, AI search, Quick fill, Super Xiao AI, AI painting, voice recognition, translation, and more.

If you own the global variant of Xiaomi 13T, you can navigate to Settings > tap on MIUI banner > Check for Updates > Update Device. In case the update is not yet available on your device, you can wait for a few days.

Before upgrading your device, make sure to back up important data and charge it to at least 50%. If you’re in a hurry, you can sideload the recovery ROM on your device.
