Sideloading One UI 7 is simple and easy, as long as you have the firmware that matches your exact device model.
For India, the stable rollout of One UI 7 is expected to roll out from the 14th of April 2025. Nothing is confirmed yet, so take this information with a pinch of salt.
Sideload One UI 7 Stable: Prerequisites
Before we dive into the steps for sideloading One UI 7 stable on your Galaxy S24 series device, you will need a few things.
- Galaxy S24 device running on the latest version of One UI 6.1
- USB cable
- Windows PC
- One UI 7 Stable Firmware (Download Link)
- ADB Drivers (Download)
- Platform Tools (Download)
Make sure to download the necessary and important files that you will need to sideload One UI 7 on your Galaxy S24 series device. Almost check and download the right software version. Downloading firmware that was not made for your device model and region will cause issues with your device.
Setting up ADB and Platform Tools for your PC
With all the necessary files on your PC, it’s time to set up the ADB drivers and the platform tools on your PC.
- Launch the ADB Drivers app that you have downloaded and install it, following the on-screen instructions.
- With everything installed, extract the Platform Tools ZIP folder.
- Do make a note of where you have extracted the folder, as it will come in handy while sideloading the firmware file to your Galaxy S24 device.
Sideloading One UI 7 Firmware To Your Device
Now, it’s time to sideload the One UI 7 stable firmware to your Galaxy device. Follow these steps very carefully. Additionally, you should make a backup of all of your data. You will not lose data, but if it happens, you can quickly restore it without wasting any time.
Step 1: First, switch off your Galaxy S24 series device. Connect one end of your USB cable to your PC.
Step 2: Now, take your Galaxy S24 device, press the Volume Up and Power button while connecting the other end of the USB cable to your Galaxy S24 device.
Step 3: Release the buttons when the recovery screen appears on your Galaxy S24 device.
Step 4: Using the Volume Down button, select the Apply Update from ADB option.
Step 5: Select the option using the Power button.
Step 6: Now, on your PC, open the extracted Platform Tools folder.
Step 7: In the address bar of the Platform Tools folder, type in CMD and hit the Enter key.
Step 8: Now, type in adb devices and hit the Enter key to check if your Galaxy S24 device is connected.

Step 9: Once your phone has been detected, type in adb sideload. Now, drag and drop the zip file into the CMD window. Once the ZIP fileโs path has been displayed, hit the Enter key.
adb sideload C:\Users\ABC\Desktop\update.zip
Step 10: The firmware is now being sideloaded and installed on your Galaxy S24 device.
Step 11: This process will take some time. Do not disconnect your phone and PC. Let the process get completed and the phone reboot into One UI 7.

Mine version is AYB8 and in video its showing it will require AYB7 can i flash it on AYB8 ? if not then how downgrade to ayb7?
