Screen Mirror Android Phone to Panasonic TV

Most Android phones come with Cast feature. However it’s name can vary by brand. If your Android phone is running on Android 4.2 or a newer operating system, you can quickly screen mirror it to the TV. Follow the below steps to do so:

Step 1: Connect your Android phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network.

Step 2: Next, navigate to the Apps and select the Mirroring app on your Panasonic Viera TV. If you have a Panasonic Fire TV, navigate to Settings > Display & Sounds and enable Display Mirroring. For Panasonic Google, or Android TVs, skip this step.

Step 3: On your Android phone, go to Settings > Screen Mirroring or Screen Cast. You can also find the option in the Control Center. If you can’t find it, search for cast/mirror/smartview in Settings.

Step 4: It will look for nearby display. Once your TV appear in the list, select it.

Step 5: You will see a confirmation message on the TV. Tap Yes.

Cast iPhone, iPad, and Mac to Panasonic TV

To mirror an iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer to a Panasonic TV, you have to enable the AirPlay feature on the TV. Panasonic TVs running on Google TV, Android TV, and Fire TV operating systems support AirPlay, meaning you can mirror your Apple devices to the TV easily.

However, the Panasonic Viera TV does not support AirPlay; hence, it is not possible to screen mirror these TVs from an Apple device. Follow the below steps to screen mirror Apple devices to a Panasonic TV.

Step 1: First things first, connect both the Apple device and Panasonic TV to the same Wi-Fi network.

Step 2: Next, enable AirPlay on the TV.

For a Panasonic Android TV, go to Settings > Device Preferences > Apple AirPlay & HomeKit Settings > AirPlay.
To enable AirPlay on Panasonic Google TV, navigate to Settings > System > Apple AirPlay & HomeKit > Apple AirPlay and HomeKit Settings > Select AirPlay and turn it on.
For Panasonic Fire TV, go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Apple AirPlay & HomeKit > Enable AirPlay.

Step 3: Now, open the Control Center on the Apple device you want to cast to TV and select the Screen Mirroring option.

Cast iPhone, iPad, and Mac to Panasonic TV

Step 4: It will look for display connected to same WiFi network. Select your Panasonic TV from the list of available devices and enter the AirPlay Passcode that shows up on the TV.

Done! Now, your Apple device will mirror to the Panasonic TV. Anything you watch on your Apple device will mirror to your Panasonic TV.

Cast Windows PC to Panasonic TV

Mirroring a Windows PC to a Panasonic TV needs the same pre-requisites as the Android phone. Here’s what you need to do.

Step 1: First of all, connect both the Windows PC and Panasonic TV to the same network.

Step 2: Now, open the Mirroring app if you have a Panasonic Viera TV. On the other hand, enable Display Mirroring under Display & Sounds if your TV is running on Fire TV OS. Nothing to do on Android and Google TV.

Step 3: Next, press the Windows + K keys at once on the Windows PC to open the Cast window.

Step 4: Select the TV from the available devices and confirm the action on the TV.

You can also direct cast from browser like Google Chrome. The case option will appear in the browser when you play a video.

Cast to Panasonic Smart TV via Apps

There are many apps like YouTube and Netflix that has dedicated cast option. So if you want to screen mirror a specific app you can do that given the app has support for the cast.

For this to work, both your Android/iOS device and Panasonic TV need to be on the same WiFi network. Then open the app on your Smartphone and play anything.
