Google has been painstakingly working on integrating its most capable AI model, Gemini into its products and apps. We’ve seen numerous apps getting the power of Google Gemini with the latest addition being the Ask Photos feature on the Google Photos app and Gemini Live assistant.

Google Workplace users can also utilize the power of Gemini in the Google apps. Android users, specifically Google Pixel owners can utilize the full power of Gemini However, there’s no app available for Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs. If you prefer using Google Gemini over Microsoft Copilot, here’s how you can add and use Gemini on Windows 11 as an app.

Gemini is the latest and most capable AI model built by Google. You can do various things using Google Gemini, summarize YouTube videos, and webpages, ask follow-up questions to your queries, plan a trip, and more. How to Create Gemini App For Your PC

Since there’s no official Google Gemini app available for Windows PCs, you can access the Gemini on your PC by making its PWA (Progressive Web App) version using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and other browsers. You can follow the below steps to install the Gemini PWA app.

Step 1: Open this URL (https://gemini.google.com) in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

Step 2: Click the three dots icon at the top right corner and Select Apps > Install this site as an app. (If you use Chrome, then you can click the three dots icon > Cast, save, and share > Install page as app.)

Step 3: When installed the app will open automatically and ask you to pin the app in the Start Menu and Taskbar, simply click on the Allow button.

How to Use Gemini App on Windows 11

You can now launch Google Gemini directly from Start Menu or Taskbar. After launching the app you can start asking your question or prompt into the chat interface box and press enter or click the send button to submit your query.

If you want to uninstall the app you can easily do it by navigating the Start Menu or Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Search app name and then uninstall it.
