- Now you can see the Emergency Bypass setting, turn the toggle on, and then tap done.

- Open the Contacts app and find the person.
- On the Contact screen, tap on the edit option listed in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and tap on Text Tone.
- On the Text Tone page, you can see the Emergency Bypass option listed on the top, turn the toggle on, and then tap done.

Allow calls and notifications for people on DND with Focus
- Open Settings on your iPhone and tap on Focus.
- Now head over to the Do Not Disturb Focus.
- In Allowed Notifications section, you can add people you want to receive a phone call from while using DND Focus.
- Tap on People, on the next screen you can tap on add button to add contacts to the list.
- Select the contacts you want to add to the list.
- Now change Allow Calls From setting to Allowed People Only.
- That’s it.
There’s no need to enable message notifications additionally with Focus Mode. Now whenever you use Do Not Disturb Focus, allowed people can contact you.
