Halo Infinite Trailer
At E3 2021, we got to see a new Halo Infinite game overview trailer that shows off the ability to use grappling hooks and Cortana being deleted. An official multiplayer reveal trailer was also showcased a new character, new weapons as well as bigger multiplayer modes. You also get to see characters being dressed out in new attire, suggesting the ability to customize your own character.
Halo Infinite Gameplay
The game is set in Zeta Halo, Installation 07, one of the largest open-world maps that have ever been built as stated by developers 343 Industries. Apart from it being an open world, there will also be day and night cycles in the game and newer vehicles as well. We also get to have a first look at a new character from within the game. Commander Laurette is going to be in charge of the Spartan Army. Plus we also know that Cortana is being replaced by a new AI that will be helping and guiding Master Chief.
The game will have various modes for you to improve your skills as well as being able to practice with multiple weapons that are available within the game. Apart from that, you can also improve your combat skills by training around with the bots in almost any map that is present in Halo Infinite. You will be to pick up and use various items within the game in multiplayer mode. Plus, you will also be notified where the new items are being spawned and how long will the item take to respawn.
Halo Infinite: Personal AI
Just like how Master Chief gets his own AI assistant, players will also get them and they will all be different and be based on the characters they choose and will have their own personality. The assistant will always be present within the character’s helmet guiding them as they combat around. The assistant will be giving constant updates about what’s happening in the current situation.
Halo Infinite: Battle pass
Halo Infinite introduces a new type of Battle Pass that will never be expiring. Meaning that it’s a one-time purchase and is meant to stay permanently. Of course, you can always buy another Battle Pass if you wish to unlock a particular item. By having two Battle Passes, you can choose as to which one will reward you as and when you progress., meaning that you will not have to spend way too much time grinding around for the same reward to be unlocked.
Halo Infinite Online multiplayer
Coming to the multiplayer side of things, there will be seeing split-screen game modes which you can play around with another family member or friend. Apart from that, you will also see a co-op multiplayer mode with various kinds of modes for you to play. You will be able to play 4v4 which then moves over to the 12v12 better known as Big Team Battle. Instead of vehicles and weapons spawning randomly on the map, they will now be airdropped right away and you will have to fight around to get hold of it.
Commander Laurette will also be giving you commands, orders and encourage you to fight the enemies and win the game. We also see capture the flag game mode which will be 12v12 meaning you will have to fight harder in order to collect the flag as well as the airdrops.
Halo Infinite: Character customization
You will now be able to customize your character’s armor with various kinds of skins that you will be able to unlock as you progress throughout the game. In the first season of the game, players will be receiving an armor skin for free. So far within the game, we get to see a Samurai armor skin. The developers have also stated that there will be even more armor skins that will later on added to the game.
Halo Infinite News
There will be a technical preview that is expected to be launching soon. This also means that we might hopefully get to see a bit more gameplay. Also, starting launch day, the Multiplayer mode for Halo Infinite will be free to play. This has been done in order to bring in players who might have never played a Halo game, a chance for them to explore the game, and hopefully bring in more fans interested in the Halo series.
The free multiplayer mode will be available on PC as well as console. So we do not know if it will be having cross-platform functionality yet. The game will be receiving more content drops, new multiplayer modes, weapons, vehicles, and maybe even a new character in the coming future. We could also see Halo Infinite making its way into eSports after the game launches out.
Halo Infinite System Requirements
While it’s an Xbox console exclusive, PlayStation players will be away from this game. Yes, it will be available on PC and will also show up on the Xbox Game Pass, meaning that you can play it via cloud gaming on your PC or even on your mobile device. As for platforms, we aren’t sure if the game will be released for the Xbox One, considering that the game has quite high graphics. But that could probably change as the game was originally announced for the Xbox One during the 2018 E3. We could see the game with a bit of change for it to be supported by the Xbox One console. The Xbox Series X\S will support the game quite well.
Now that there is a new Halo game launching real soon, everyone’s excited to get their hands on and play the game. We can expect a whole lot of new people trying their hands on the free to play multiplayer mode of Halo Infinite.
