GRID Legends Trailer
The GRID Legends trailer, as I mentioned earlier was revealed during the EA PlayLive event in July 2021. Its trailer shows off a few drivers talking about how they would like to be the champion and keep winning races after races. We also get to see the teams celebrating around and as expected a wide range of vehicles racing around through the tracks.
GRID Legends Gameplay
With the all-new GRID Legends game, we can finally expect a story-driven racing game. You basically start as a small racer or what they would call underdogs. You start a small racer and then slowly make your way up to the top to be the best. The catch however is that you will be racing against the professionals of the sport. So, the race won’t just be tough, but will also be challenging. With regards to gameplay footage of the game, nothing has been revealed yet.
GRID Legends Game Locations
Looking at the reveal trailer we do know for a fact that the races will be taking place in London and Moscow. We can also see locations and tracks from the existing GRID games to be featured in the new game. There could be more than 130 race routes that you could be racing along. Popular locations such as Brands Hatch, Indianapolis, and the Stadia Alpina will be available. We can also expect more locations and tracks to be revealed before the game is ready to be launched.
GRID Legends Game Modes
With GRID Legends you have the usual races as well as two new modes Eliminator and Boost Gates. Eliminator will have you racing around with cars from various classes whereas the Boost gate will be revolving around Electric Cars. Yes, Electric Cars will be featuring itself in the GRID Legends game.
GRID Legends Mutliplayer
While single-player mode will be there, we get to see Online PvP modes where there would be players racing against each other in various races and game modes. There is also Cross-Platform multiplayer support, which means that no matter what you or your friends will be playing GRID Legends the group will always be able to play together. This is a feature that is making its way to more and more games.
GRID Legends Platform availability
GRID Legends will be available to play on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 as well as on PC via Steam and Origin. If you are among those that will be playing on PC, you will be able to use controllers thanks to full controller support. We could also see support for racing wheels because it is best experienced with one.
GRID Legends System Requirements
With regards to the new generation consoles, we could be playing them at 120 FPS 4K which will be pretty neat as you would get to see the game’s vehicles as well as the environment come to life and look realistic enough to enjoy the game. When it comes to the PC side of things, we have no information about the system requirements. However, we could be seeing the requirements be revealed soon and should be possible to run the game on some decent hardware at a minimum.
GRID Legends Vehicles
There will be a variety of car classes available, Open Wheel, Touring, Street Muscle, Drift, and even Racing Semi Trucks. You will also have mixed class events which will be incense as well as fun to race in. Also, there is a race editor where you will be able to create your own races, which moreover means you can bring in various car classes in it or simply pit in two classes to race against each other. There are a few cars confirmed and as seen in the trailer

Conclusion
Well then, a new GRID game is on the horizon and everyone is excited as well as has a mixed bag of reactions. Great because it will be a Codemasters game, mixed because it’s now under EA so, there could be some silly EA stuff such as the usual loot boxes or probably even pricey DLCs, things EA is famous for. Let’s just hope they don’t ruin the new game and it stays as it is in true Codemasters style. The article will be updated as and when new information about the game will be revealed.
