  Hi Jesse, you need to manually switch the TV on and then press the Channel Up button repeatedly till it switches itself off. After it gets switched off the second time, the remote will work with your TV.

I am trying to get my volume button working with my GE universal remote to a protron t.v it worked with this same remote before but I messed up and programmed it to my onn stick. Now I can’t hear it. Can you walk me through on how to change it back to the universal remote?
