Just like the other Android 13-based custom skins FuntouchOS 13 is rolling with the Material You color palettes and a bunch of other personalization features.
Personalization Features
FuntouchOS 13 brings system-wide dynamic theming support with an option to choose a wide range of colors across system apps, notification panels, Settings, and more. Not only this but the new dynamic theming also works for the widgets, the support is limited to select widgets yet.
Vivo is releasing the FuntouchOS 13 with large app folders and also brings Monochrome theming to the app icons. The update also features new cards for a quick glance, including the latest Air Quality Index (AQI) card. Apart from these changes, you can expect system-wide improvements on the UI side.
New Camera App Features
Vivo is pushing new photography tools with its new FuntouchOS 13 update, the list includes a bunch of new tools for videography and photography.
The app gets a new stabilization ring which helps you capture perfectly horizontal videos. FuntouchOS 13 brings new editing tools for both photos and videos, the new video editing tools now allow users to easily mute certain parts of a video. For photo editing, you can now edit images within the viewfinder.
Security Improvements
App Pinning is the new security feature Vivo added to the FuntouchOS, the feature lets you pick apps and pin them, and it will help prevent someone else from looking at other apps.
Apart from the app pinning, there’s a new feature for the gallery app as well, it allows you to hide certain photos from your device by opening the gallery and then tapping on the three dots menu icon. It is a similar feature to the one available on the iPhone. Other than that you can expect security features from Android 13.
