Vivo X80 – Quick Overview

This year’s Vivo X-series flagship phone comes in two different chip variants – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (available only for the Pro variant) and the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. Moving to the front, then the vanilla Vivo X80 comes in with a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, whereas the Pro variant has a more superior 6.78-inch Samsung’s E5 LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1440 X 3200 pixels resolution. The Pro model also boasts an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner with a bigger scan area.

In terms of optics, the vanilla X80 features a triple-lens camera setup on the back, whereas the Pro model has a large quad-camera array. Speaking of the Pro model’s camera, then the X80 Pro boasts a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GNV image sensor of f/1.6 aperture, joined by a 12MP telephoto camera, an 8MP periscope sensor, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. It also supports 8K video recording and 4K video recording at 30fps / 60fps. While on the front, the X80 line phones have a 32MP shooter for selfies.

Vivo launches the X80 line phones with Funtouch OS 12-based Android 12 OS. Vivo X80 goes official with a 4,500mAh battery, while the Pro variant packs a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The phone comes in Cosmic Black, Blue, and Orange color options. In terms of pricing, the Vivo X80 Pro is priced at 79,999 (approx. $ 1,023) with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard. Now let’s take a look at the wallpapers available in the Vivo X80 series phones.
