Download iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1 (Stable Update)

In the weekly update, last week Apple releases iOS 13.4.5 Beta 1 and iPadOS 13.4.5 Beta 1. And everyone was wondering why this long jump to iOS 13.4.5 directly from iOS 13.4 stable, where is the iOS 13.4.1. And finally, here it is, Apple starts rolling iOS 13.4.1 stable and iPadOS 13.4.1 stable. As per regular updates we were expecting that Apple will release iOS 13.4.5 Beta 2, but in turn, Apple rolls out iOS 13.4.1 stable and iPadOS 13.4.1 stable for everyone either public or developer users. So if you are using the iOS 13.4 or iPadOS 13.4 then the next stable update is now live.

The iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1 stable release comes with few bug changes and not any big feature. iOS 13.4.1 comes in a small update size around 100MB depending on the device you have. Same with the iPadOS 13.4.1 public stable, it also comes with a small update. Apple took the step to release the update early, maybe because of a few bugs that users have reported after updating to iOS 13.4. iPad:

  • Fixes an issue where devices running iPadOS 13.4 could not participate in FaceTime calls with devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier
  • Addresses an issue on iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) where the flashlight may not turn on after tapping the Flashlight button in Control Center or on the Lock screen
  • Addresses a bug with the Settings app where choosing Bluetooth from the quick actions menu on the Home screen would fail

Download iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1 Update

If you are using the stable iOS 13.4 or iPadOS 13.4 then you must have already received the update. And if not then you can manually check for the update and install it on your iPhone or iPad. Even after checking manually the update doesn’t show then we can use IPSW file to update manually using iTunes or Finder.

Steps to Install iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1 Stable Update

  1. Connect your phone to a WiFi with an active internet.
  2. Make sure that you have enough space on your phone to install the update without any problem.
  3. Now go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  4. Then head over to General > Software Update.
  5. Now it will show the latest iOS 13.4.1 or iPadOS 13.4.1 stable updates. And if not manually search for updates.
  6. Once it shows the latest update tap on the ‘Download and Install’ button.
  7. It will now download the iOS 13.4.1 or iPadOS 13.4.1 Stable version on your device.
  8. After that reboot your phone and then you will have the latest update on your iPhone or iPad.

In case if you are using a Beta build like iOS 13.4.5 Beta 1 then you can remove the beta profile and you can update your phone to the latest available stable update. So if you want to remove beta profile you can use the below guide.

Steps to Remove Beta Profile from iPhone and iPad

Before removing beta profile you should be aware that you will not receive beta update until you reinstall the beta profile. And adding a beta profile is an easy task so this shouldn’t be a big problem.

  1. First, start with opening Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Then in Setting go to General option.
  3. Look for Profile which will be near the VPN option and then open it.
  4. It will show the installed profile so tap on it to open and proceed further.
  5. Now tap on Remove Profile button to delete the beta profile.
  6. Then reboot your phone and now go to Software Update and install the latest available update.

That’s it, this way you can simply remove the beta profile from your iPhone or iPad. Well, you can still reinstall the beta profile when you want to try beta update on your device.
