Today, Oppo has unveiled its Android 12-based ColorOS 12 custom skin globally. The ColorOS 12 brings a major overhaul to the Oppo phones. The newest skin goes official with inclusive design, icon gets a 3D texture, adopts Android 12-based widgets, new features for AOD, new privacy controls, and many other features. ColorOS 12 – Details

Oppo’s ColorOS 12 based Android 12 skin goes official, will join many Oppo phones in the coming days. The beta is already live for the Oppo Find X3 Pro in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. The company also shares the rollout plan featuring over 110 Oppo phones. Moving to the features, then the newest skin comes with the overhauled user interface, 3D icons based on acrylic theming, AOD 2.0, Omoji 3D avatars, PC Connect, Phone Clone 2.0, and many other features.

One of the best features of Android 12 is the Material You Dynamic theming, Oppo also adopts the new color scheme with its newest skin. Apart from that, Oppo’s new ColorOS 12 skin comes with new privacy controls, which lets you see which app is using the microphone or camera, even allow users to disable the camera and microphone directly from the control center aka notification panel. The beta access will be available starting next month in India, you can check the complete list of eligible devices here.
