Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, is all set to launch its new budget-friendly smartphone, the CMP Phone 2 Pro. Looking back at the good reception that the CMF Phone 1 got, many people are excited about the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

While CMF is gearing up to launch the CMF Phone 2 Pro, there are also several other CMF-branded products, such as its new CMF Buds 2 family, which includes the Buds 2, Buds 2a, and the Buds 2 Pro.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Launch Date
CMF is set to launch the brand new CMF Nothing Phone 2 Pro in India on the 28th of April 2025. Shortly after the launch, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will also go on sale on India’s e-commerce shopping platform, Flipkart. The launch event will take place at 6:30 PM IST.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Specifications
Since CMF is all about affordability and budget-friendly, it is important to see what the brand is offering with the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Powering the heart of the CMF Phone 2 Pro will be MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Pro. This 5G-supported processor will help the CMF Phone 2 Pro be faster and provide better GPU performance, which will help while playing games.
In terms of the display, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to come with a large 6.7-inch high refresh rate AMOLED display. You can expect the display to have a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes navigating through the UI responsive and smooth.
Concerning the RAM and ROM of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, you can expect the device to come with 8 GB of RAM and two storage variants of 128 GB and 256 GB. This is similar to what the CMF Phone 1 came with.
Battery-wise, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will come with a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged by wire at 33W. It has also been reported that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will come with a 25W charger in the box, along with the usual device propaganda, USB-C cable, and a SIM ejector tool.
On the camera side of things, no details are available about the selfie snapper and the rear camera setup.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Design
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will continue to follow the design language of the CMF Phone 1. It will come with a removable back and may come with interchangeable back covers in different color options. You will be able to add a lanyard or any other accessory to the back thanks to the single removable screw. Details such as the IP rating are yet to be revealed.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Expected Price
With CMF being a budget-friendly brand, you can expect the CMF Phone 2 Pro to be priced around or below the $250 mark. In India, the device is expected to be launched at or below ₹22,000. However, there can also be bank offers and discounts when the CMF Phone 2 Pro is launched, which helps in bringing the price tag even lower.
CMF Phone 2 Pro: Software and Updates Policy
CMF will launch the CMF Phone 2 Pro with Android 15 out of the box. You will get to experience the dot matrix styled Nothing OS 3 on this device. At least as per the CMF Phone 1’s update policy, you can expect the CMF Phone 2 Pro to get two years of major Android updates and three years of security updates. The CMF Phone 2 Pro will get software updates until Android 17 and its last security updates in 2027.
