iOS 14.6 Beta 3 and iPadOS 14.6 Beta 3 updates are currently available only to developers. But soon the updates will be released also for public beta testers. Maybe by the time you are reading this, the update is already available for public beta testers. You already know that the update will be available only for supported iPhones and iPads.
If you are on the last iOS 14.6 Beta 2 build, then you will get the update over the air. You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update. Then click on Download and Install button to install the iOS 14.6 Beta 3 update.
Users who are on a public build like iOS 14.5.1 may not get the beta update on your phone. So, in that case, you can install the update manually using IPSW files or by using a beta profile. We recommend using beta profiles for beta updates as you will get incremental updates directly on your iPhone. Install iOS 14.6 Beta Profile and iPadOS 14.6 Beta Profile
- Go to the Apple Beta Software program site.
- Then scroll down a bit and click on Sign in if you have Apple ID.
- On the next page, select the correct OS for your devices like iOS 14 or iPadOS 14.
- Scroll down till Getting Started and click on Enroll your iOS device.
- Now you need to install a profile from the next Page. For this, click on the Download Profile.
- After installing the Profile, reboot your device. And you are ready to install iOS 14.6 beta 3 on your iPhone.
After installing the beta profile, you can go to Settings > Software Update to install the latest update on your iPhone or iPad. You can also install iOS 14.6 Beta 3 with the full IPSW file using Finder or iTunes.
