Google has released Android 16 Beta 4.1 ahead of the stable Android 16 release for eligible Pixel devices. This is a minor update focused on bug fixes.
Google is all set to release the official Android 16 next month i.e in June. Theyโve already reached the platform stability phase in Android 16 testing, and are currently fixing all critical bugs before the stable release.
In the bug-squashing journey, Google addressed more than 9 bugs with the Android 16 Beta 4.1 update. After this round of bug fixing, Android 16 is more stable than ever.
The Android 16 Beta 4.1 update is available for eligible Pixel devices with build number BP22.250325.012. It is still based on the April security patch. If youโre unaware of the eligible devices, the latest beta is available for the following models.

What’s New in Android 16 Beta 4.1
As mentioned earlier, the Android 16 Beta 4.1 is a minor update and it only focuses on bug fixes. This means it doesnโt bring new features or big changes. Here is the official changelog.
- Fixed an issue that impacted haptic performance
- Fixed an issue that impacted 4k video recording at 4x telephoto
- Fixed the weather map disappearing
- Fixed lock screen shortcuts triggering with a single tap
- Fixed an issue where the microphone indicator is stuck on
- Fixed an issue where audio fails to play from the NDK
- Fixed a constant battery drain issue
- Fixed a black navigation bar appearing on transitions
- Fixed a Google app crash when loading a website
If youโve enrolled in the Android 16 beta program for your Pixel device, Android 16 Beta 4.1 will be available over the air. You can manually check for the update in Settings.
