Android 14 update rolling out for Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro and Tab Active 4 Pro

The Christmas gift as the Android 14 update is here for the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro and Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro users. Samsung has started rolling out the anticipated software upgrade to the two more Galaxy devices. The Android 14-centric One UI 6.0 update is seeding with a bunch of new features, read on to know more details.

Samsung is pushing the new software to the Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro with the G736BXXU5DWL2 firmware version and available in a bunch of countries including Australia, Germany, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, and some other countries in Europe.

Moving to the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, then the tablet receives its next major Android upgrade with the T636NKOU4CWL5 software version number and currently seeding in mainland South Korea; a wider rollout to commence in a matter of time.

Samsung plants the new software on the two Galaxy devices with the December 2023 monthly security patch alongside the new One UI 6 features. The features list includes redesigned Quick Settings, more customization controls on the lock screen, a new One UI Sans font, new emojis, a new media player, separate battery settings, and many more.

Whether you own the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro or Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro, you can now upgrade your phone to Android 14. At the time of writing, the update is in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone very soon. You will receive the over-the-air update notification on your device once the update is available for you. You can always manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.

Make sure to that a backup of important data before installing the new update on your device. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% in case of failures.
