Xiaomi 14 HyperOS 2 update starts rolling out globally

Xiaomi has started pushing the HyperOS 2 update for Xiaomi 14 globally. The update comes out three weeks after the release of the Android 15 update. The anticipated software upgrade brings a bunch of useful AI features, new customization features, enhancements, and more.

HyperOS 2.0 is the first major OS upgrade for Xiaomi 14, rolling out with OS2.0.4.0.VNCMIXM firmware version. The update measures around 6GB of download size. Please ensure you have enough data to download the update.

At the moment, the update is rolling out in a staged manner and pushed first to the international variant. A broader rollout should follow in a matter of time. Xiaomi 14 HyperOS 2.0 update is based on Android 15 operating system.

Moving to features, HyperOS 2.0 brings new customization features, user interface changes, performance enhancements, Circle to Search, and more. Apart from that the update includes AI-driven features such as dynamic wallpapers, AI search, Quick fill, Super Xiao AI, AI painting, voice recognition, translation, and more.

Xiaomi usually rolls out these updates in a staged manner, a broader rollout should follow in the coming days. Some users have already received the update, if you haven’t received or missed the OTA notification, you can navigate to Settings > tap on MIUI banner > Check for Updates > Update Device.

Before upgrading your tablet, make sure to back up important data and charge it to at least 50%. If you’re in a hurry, you can sideload the recovery ROM on your Xiaomi 14 and access new features on your device.
