The wait is finally over for the Xiaomi users. The company has finally joined the Android 15 race and kicked off the stable update for last year’s flagship smartphone, Xiaomi 14. Obviously, the upgrade bags a bunch of new features and changes. Read on to learn more about the Xiaomi 14 Android 15 update.
Xiaomi 14 receives the new software upgrade with 1.1.3.0.VNCMIXM build number, if you reside in Europe, your device will get the update with 1.1.4.0.VNCEUXM firmware version. The incremental upgrade weighs only 125MB in download size. At the time of writing, the update’s availability is limited to Xiaomi 14, with the 14 Ultra expected to receive the update in the coming days.
Xiaomi 14 Android 15 update is based on HyperOS 1.1, the recently announced HyperOS 2.0 update will be released later this year or early next year. Now moving to the changes coming with today’s release, the update brings improvements to the Home Screen, lock screen, and recent menu.

Xiaomi usually rolls out these updates in a staged manner, a broader rollout should follow in the coming days. Some users have already received the update, if you haven’t received or missed the OTA notification, you can navigate to Settings > tap on MIUI banner > Check for Updates > Update Device.
