Oppo has started rollout of Android 15 based stable ColorOS 15 update for its eligible devices. Oppo Find N3 is their second device and first foldable device to get stable Android 15 based ColorOS 15 update, following the Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G.
Last week, Oppo shared the official ColorOS 15 roadmap, and according to it, the company is right on schedule. As per the same roadmap, another Oppo phone will join Android 15 party in November, which is going to be the clamshell variant of the Find N3.
The stable version of ColorOS 15 update for Find N3 will be available to limited users first. And if everything goes well in the update, it will be rolled out to all users in the coming days. So those who want to get the stable update before others will have to apply for it.
Oppo is currently accepting application from users in Thailand/Malaysia/Indonesia. So if you are from any of the mentioned regions, you can apply for the official version. Users from other regions may have to wait a few more days.
To get the stable ColorOS 15 before others, you can follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right > Trial versions > Official version > Apply Now.
- Detect the update > Download Now. You will then receive the new version that you can install.
Unlike the closed beta, you don’t have to wait for the build to appear on your device. Once you apply for the official version, the update will immediately appear on the Update page in settings.
Since this is a major update, make sure to take backup of important data and keep enough free storage before installing the update.
