Early this month, Samsung announced the One UI 7.0 beta for Galaxy S24 lineup. To make the experience even better, the tech titan quickly followed up with a second beta release within a week. As the general availability of the new skin is scheduled for Q1 of 2025, we will get more beta updates further addressing bugs and fixes.
Each year, Samsung rolls out One UI beta updates for its current flagship smartphones and later to the older flagship phones and mid-ranger phones. But what about the Galaxy S23 and S22 series phones? The company hasn’t shared a word on it yet. Will these phones get the beta?
Recently, we’ve seen Samsung Germany publishing the One UI 7 beta landing page for the Galaxy S23 line of phones. Yes, Samsung is expected to release the One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, foldable devices, and select mid-range phones.
There is some speculation that the beta program for Galaxy S23 will be released on Dec 23. On the same day, Samsung is expected to release the third beta for the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Galaxy S22 users may need to wait a bit longer to access the One UI 7 beta. There are some rumors pointing out that the beta program will go live the same day for both Galaxy S23 and S22 series. If everything goes fine, we will see the beta for both phones on the same day.
Whether you own the Galaxy S23 or S22, you can take part in the beta program from the Samsung Members app. The testing for the Galaxy S24 series is live in South Korea, India, Poland, Germany, the UK, and the USA. We can expect the same pattern for the previous generation devices.
