Samsung releases One UI 7 update for Galaxy A54

Samsung has started rolling out the stable Android 15-centric One UI 7 update for Galaxy A54. At the time of writing, the update is seeding in mainland South Korea, a broader rollout should commence in a matter of time.

Samsung is pushing the new software upgrade to the Galaxy A54 with A546SKSU9DYD7 firmware version. It is the second major OS upgrade for the smartphone, similar to the previous major releases, the update requires a big chunk of data for downloading. It weighs around 3.5GB for download.

Samsung Galaxy A54 receives One UI 7 update with April 2024 monthly security patch and a bunch of new features. The list includes new personalization features, including the all-new Now Bar, which shows live activities such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more.

Other than that, the upgrade brings an all-new home screen user interface, starting with the app icons, quick panel, font, new One UI widgets, and more. You can check out the complete list of changes here.

If you own the Galaxy A54, you can check for new updates in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
