Samsung is close to completing the race by releasing the Android 12 update for every eligible Galaxy phone. There are only a few devices left for the Android 12 and One UI 4 update. This week Samsung also rolled out the Android 12 update for two other Galaxy phones, the Galaxy M12 and the Galaxy F02s. Every week we see Samsung expanding its list of devices with the Android 12 update. A new addition to the list now is the Galaxy M01 which is a very affordable phone.
The Android 12 based stable One UI 4.1 update for Galaxy M01 is rolling out in India with firmware build M015GXXU4CVF6. And it will soon be available in other regions in Asia. This is the second major update for the device since its release. And as it is a major update, it measures more than a GB.
Now coming to the changes, the update comes with the June 2022 Android Security Patch. And as you expect from a major update, it also brings new features and changes. It includes features such as new widgets, very smooth animations while opening and closing apps, overhauled quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, new charging animation, and much more. If you are a Galaxy M01 user in India, then you will receive the update soon, if you haven’t received it already. As usual, the update is rolling out to users in batches, so some users might get the update in early batches while some users might get the last baches.
