[U1: Available in India] Poco X3 Pro gets Android 12 based MIUI 13 update

Recently, Poco released MIUI 13 update for the Poco F3 and Poco F3 GT. Now the news comes out that Xiaomi’s newest custom skin – MIUI 13 is available for the Poco X3 Pro smartphone. The latest software upgrade joins the X3 Pro with a flurry of new features and changes. We can expect it will join more Poco phones in the coming days. Poco X3 Pro picks up the Android 12-centric update with 13.0.3.0.SJUMIXM build number. Obviously, it needs a huge amount of data for downloading, you can connect your phone to a WiFi network for quick installation. At the moment, the OTA is seeding to Global units of the X3 Pro smartphone, which will join more units across the world in the coming days. And the best thing is, some users have already received the new update. It is rolling with upgraded February 2022 monthly security patch and other built-in features.

Moving to the features and changes, then Xiaomi rolls out the MIUI 13 update to Poco X3 Pro with features such as optimized file storage system, RAM optimization engine, processor priority optimization, extended battery life of up to 10%, sidebar, and more. As of now, it doesn’t have features like the new Super Wallpapers and the new widgets system, we can expect that it will be rolled out with an incremental OTA. Poco X3 Pro users can now upgrade their phones to the new MIUI 13 OS. For the time being, the new skin is available for users who opted for the company’s beta testing program known as the pilot testing program. If everything goes fine, we can expect a stable OTA within the next few weeks.

Update 1: Rolling Out In India

The Android 12 based MIUI 13 for Poco X3 Pro is now rolling out in India. Poco X3 Pro MIUI 13 update comes with build number V13.0.1.0.SJUINXM. It is tagged as a Pilot release which means first it will be available to beta users and if everything goes as their plan, it will be available to everyone in a few days.
