Pixel 6 users report major issues after Android 15 Update

Google has recently started rolling out the Android 15 update for Pixel devices. The update that brings Android 15 also includes the latest feature drop update. Due to multiple features combined, it is one of the most exciting updates. However, Pixel 6 owners should be cautious, as the update comes with a major flaw.

Every major update comes with some bugs, but the Pixel 6 bug is a big one that canโ€™t be ignored. If you or someone you know has a Pixel 6, it’s important you know about this issue and share the information with others.

Many Pixel 6 owners have shared their bad experiences after updating to Android 15. Users who have tried to setup the Private Space on their phones have had their phones bricked. Private Space is a new Android 15โ€™s feature.

A Pixel 6 user also reported that their phone died during normal use. So, anything on Android 15 could be the cause, which means the only option right now is to avoid installing Android 15.

This problem can not be fixed even if you are well versed with fastboot and recovery modes, as some users reported that the device is not detected on the PC. However, this is only based on the general user experience, and the support team may be able to help users with the issue. If you had experience, share it in the comments.

This is not the first time Pixel 6 users are facing such an issue, Android 14 also had similar issues which bricked several Pixel 6 phones. And it seems like Google failed to identify the root cause even after delaying the major Android 15 update.

If you are a Pixel 6 user, it is advisable to avoid installing the Android 15. If someone you known has a Pixel 6, then donโ€™t forget to let them know.
