Samsung kicks off the third week of October with the One UI 8 rollout for some mid-range phones. Earlier today, the company released the update for Galaxy A33, A53, and M56. Now the update goes live for three more mid-tier phones, including the Galaxy M34, M35, and F54. Needless to say, the update bags a bunch of new features and changes.
Samsung is rolling out the One UI 8 update to Galaxy M34 with the M346BXXU8EYI8 build number. The Galaxy M35 picks up the new software upgrade with M356BXXU5CYI8 software version, whereas the Galaxy F54 receives its next major OS upgrade with E546BXXU9EYI4 firmware version.
As per the details shared by Mohammed Khatri, the update weighs around 2.4GB of download size on the Galaxy M35 and is similar on the Galaxy M34. The update is currently in a rollout phase and available to a limited number of users. A broader rollout should commence in a matter of time.
One UI 8-based Android 16 update comes with a slew of new features and changes. The list of features includes the new Adaptive lock screen clock, improved split-screen view, better display support in Samsung DeX, easier file sharing with Quick Share, Dynamic Lock screen, hide apps in secure folder, updated stock apps, improved animations, and more.
Whether you own the Galaxy M34, M35, or F54, you may have already received the One UI 8 update on your device. In case you missed the OTA notification, you can check for the update, go to Settings > Software Update or you can wait for a few days for a broader rollout. Once the update is available on your phone, you can download and install it.
Please charge your phone to at least 50% before updating to the One UI 8-based Android 16 update. Also, don’t forget to back up your data just in case.
