After a wait of around two weeks, Galaxy S25 users in India are finally getting One UI 8 beta. Samsung released One UI 8 beta just before the end of May, but it was initially available in the USA, the UK, Germany, and Korea. However, it appears the beta is now expanding to other eligible regions along with the second beta release in the first batch of countries.
The One UI 8 Beta for Galaxy S25 in India is available with build version ZYF3. It is the same for all three models, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. So, if you’ve been eagerly waiting for the update, you can finally experience the goodness of One UI 8.
As usual, getting into the beta program is quite easy if it’s available for your device. First, update the Samsung Members to the latest version and open the app on your device. Make sure you’re signed in with your Samsung account on your phone. In the Samsung Members app, you’ll get a Notice regarding the beta program. Simply tap on the banner inside the notice.
Read the details and enter the beta program. Once you enroll in the beta program, go to Settings > Software Update. The latest One UI 8 beta will be available immediately. Before installing the beta, make sure to back up your data.
One UI 8 is the next major OS release based on Android 16 for Samsung Galaxy phones. The major update takes the One UI experience to the next level with enhanced animation and smooth performance across all pages and stock apps.
The One UI 8 feels a lot better than One UI 7, so many of you might want to jump right into the beta build. Since the One UI 8 is already close to official release, you will find the beta build free of major bugs. Battery life on the beta build is also said to be better than One UI 7. If you are a general user, I would say wait for the stable One UI 8.
