Update 1: 19th Nov 2020
The sixth beta is now available for users in India and the UK. It is rolling out for Galaxy S20 devices with firmware version G988xxXXU5ZTKF. It is a small update available under 200MB. It comes with the major hint that Galaxy S20 will soon get the public stable One UI 3.0 update. The update changelog states ‘Rollback to previous Android version (Android 10 using Smart Switch is not supported on this version)’.
It means if you update to the latest version then you can only update to the next beta updates or directly the stable update. With this, we can speculate that the stable One UI 3.0 stable version will be releasing soon for the Galaxy S20 series. Make sure to update your Galaxy S20 to the sixth beta only if you don’t want to roll back to Android 10.
The official statement from Samsung says that Galaxy S20 will get the stable Android 11 update before the end of December 2020. But it can land early as the last week of November. So stay connected to YTECHB for more One UI 3.0 news and updates.
