After the Nubia Z60 Ultra, the Nubia Z50 devices are now receiving the stable Android 15 update. Although the update has been spotted in China, it is likely to be available in other regions as well.
Nubia released its official Android 15 rollout plan a few months ago, specifying that the Z50 devices would receive the update in Q2. As promised, Nubia has begun rolling out the Android 15 update for the Nubia Z50 series, including the Z50 and Z50 Ultra.
The Android 15 update for Nubia Z50 Ultra is available with build number NebulaAIOS1.0.11MR2_NX712J. The update weighs over 4 GB, so make sure to download it over WiFi.
Note: A warning to every Nubia Z50 user that some users have reported that the update has bricked their phone. After the update, their phones keep restarting. So, it’s advisable to back up your data before installing the update or wait for the next patch.
As of now, the update changelog for the Nubia Z50 is not available. However, we’ve obtained the changelog from the Nubia Z60s Pro, which you can check below. The changelog for the Z50 will be mostly similar.
Important Notice
- This is version upgrade of Android 15 + OS. To reduce the risk, it is recommended to back up important data in advance.
- The first boot time after the upgrade is long, please do not force shutdown.
- The initialization process will cause slight heating, which will return to normal after a while.
