Last month, Nubia’s official support revealed that the Red Magic 9 Pro will receive the Android 15 update in May. This month, the Red Magic 9 Pro finally starts receiving the Android 15-based stable Red Magic OS 10 update globally.
The Nubia Red Magic is a popular gaming phone series among gamers, but is infamous for its lack of updates. These devices don’t get regular updates, including security patches. The Red Magic 9 Pro is a flagship gaming phone, but it is getting its first major update, Android 15, after months of waiting.
The Android 15 update for the Red Magic 9 Pro comes with build number RedMagicOS10.0.4. As per the screenshot shared by a Red Magic 9 Pro user, the update weighs 2.35 GB. So, make sure to download the update over Wi-Fi.
Although the RedMagic OS 10 update arrived quite late for the Red Magic 9 Pro, it brings several new features that users might find appealing. Among these additions are AR Glasses Mode, Spatial Remote Controller, Magic Voice Assistant, Motion-Sensing controls, Redmagic Space Station, new Quick Settings UI, separate notification panel, and more.
