Motorola starts rolling out Android 15 beta update to Moto Edge 50

Motorola has started rolling out the Android 15 beta update for Moto Edge 50. The beta update comes a few days after the release of the stable update for Moto Edge 50 Neo. It is a major upgrade and bags a slew of new features and enhancements.

For the time being, the update is rolling out to select users in limited regions. Android 15 beta for Moto Edge 50 is seeding with V1UW35H.60 software version. As it is a big upgrade, it requires a large chunk of data to download the update. The update is based on the November 2024 monthly security patch.

If you own the Moto Edge 50 and reside in Brazil, EMEA, or India, you can join the beta testing program. The phone was launched with the Android 14 operating system and is all set to receive the first major OS upgrade.

Android 15 update for Motorola phones bundled with a bunch of new features, including the new lock screen customization features, updated quick panel, Circle to Search functionality of compatible devices, Gen AI emojis, new emoji stickers, improved connections, and more.

If you already joined the MFN program, then you will receive the beta update through a special OTA update. You can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > System updates > Check for system updates.
