Motorola Moto G200 starts receiving stable Android 12 update

Motorola has started rolling out the stable Android 12 update for the Moto G200. The OEM may not be ahead of some other OEMs in the Android 12 update, but recently Motorola released Android 12 for some phones including the Moto Edge 20. And finally, Moto G200 users can also experience Android 12 features. Read on to know more about the stable Android 12 for Moto G200.

Moto G200 5G is a budget flagship phone that was released in November last year. And it was released with Android 11 out of the box. The Android 12 is the first major update for Moto G200 and is expected to get at least one more major update Android 13.

The Android 12 for Moto G200 is currently rolling out in selected markets in Europe. And it is expected to be available in other regions soon. The Moto G200 Android 12 comes with build number S1RX32.50-13. As it is a major update it weighs more than general security updates. So make sure to use WiFi to install the update.

Since it is the Android 12 update you will be having a lot of expectations when it comes to new features and improvements. Yes, you will get to see many interesting features and Material You UI.

Other new features include an updated notification panel, new widgets, and a bunch of security and privacy features. Apart from that, the update comes with a slew of customization options such as font style, size, colors, icon shapes, layouts, wallpapers, and more from the home screen menu. The update will also bump up the Android Security Patch to March 2022 and brings more stability. At the moment, the changelog is not available to us, but you can expect all above-mentioned features in this update.

If you are a Moto G200 user in Europe you will get the Android 12 update soon if you haven’t received it already. The OTA update is rolling out in batches which means the update will take a few days to reach all the eligible phones. In case you don’t get update notifications on your phone, then you can manually check for the update in Settings > System > Advanced > System updates and check for the new updates.

If the update is not available, you can wait for a few days or update it manually. Before updating your Moto G200 to Android 12 make sure to charge it to at least 50% and also make a backup of important data.
